WiMAX Security Training Course benefits
This course is a three-day Boot Camp event, which covers
all of the necessary topics to prepare a technical student to
take the WiMAX Security Professional™ certification
exam. The course is designed for experienced networking
professionals, some of whom have already completed their
WiMAX Core Network Design certification, who will be
designing, implementing, and monitoring the security
properties of a WiMAX network.
The course is primarily
knowledge-based, enhanced with labs to demonstrate the
configuration and operations of security tools.
At the end of the course, the successful student should
have the knowledge and skills to choose among design
tradeoffs for a secure WiMAX network, and monitor the
operations of the network to maintain security.
WiMAX Boot Camp Practical Experience and Certification Testing
This WiMAX boot camp is structured as 50% tutorial content, and 50% hands-on exercises, illustrated with case studies. Through a
special arrangement with EDX Wireless, a demonstration copy of the EDX SignalPro® software tool, including the Network
Design Module, is provided to each student, and used for in-class exercises. You’ll have the experience of designing the RF
network for a sample WiMAX-served community. Ten spreadsheet tools are provided to enhance hands-on experience.
Bring your laptop, or arrange in advance for our staff to provide one for you.
