The Certified Wireless Network Professional Program (CWNP) program is the first and only vendor-neutral program available to teach today's network engineers a standard body of knowledge for wireless LANs. CWNP Wireless LAN Training and Certification leverages existing networking knowledge and skill by applying that expertise to wireless networking. The CWNP program imparts credibility, confidence, and recognition, while measuring the knowledge of IT professionals. Achieving CWNP status - at any level - shows that you are a technical leader with the ability to successfully implement and manage wireless network solutions for your organization or your clients.
Certifications
The CWNP program consists of four different training courses and certifications:
- Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) - For the wireless LAN administrator or for those making inroads into the wireless networking industry.
- Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) - For professionals who needs advanced processes and techniques for keeping their enterprise wireless network data secure.
- Wireless Analysis Professional (CWAP) - For the experienced network engineer, who requires the in-depth ability to analyse, diagnose, troubleshoot and optimise 802.11 wireless LANs.
- Wireless Network Expert (CWNE) - For the wireless networking specialist who is called upon to design, recommend, install, upgrade, and troubleshoot the most complex wireless networking technologies
One can also reach Certified Wireless Network Trainer (CWNT) status for each of the certifications.
