Ruckus BeamFlex technology uses dynamic beam-forming with a high-gain, directional Smart antenna array within the AP, to monitor the environment, and dynamically adjust the signal to the best performing path - automatically "steering around" interference and obstacles.
This innovative approach to antenna design is at the heart of Ruckus Wireless RF technology. The Ruckus adaptive multi-element antenna array (BeamFlex), is designed to increase signal gain, improve signal directionality, increase interference rejection, and provide correct signal polarisation.
The miniaturised adaptive antenna array is an elegant and revolutionary solution that has been in production and field-proven for over 7 years.
The antenna array shown above supports dual-radio usage and has 19 separate antennas. These antennas are directional and each element is either horizontally or vertically polarised. In all, the array is capable of over 4,000 different antenna combinations.
Ruckus SmartCast technology combines innovative multicast traffic handling techniques, smart QoS, and application-aware traffic classification capabilities, for top-quality Wi-Fi video transmissions. SmartCast differentiates and manages multicast video frames separately from all other traffic types, for robust wireless transport for IPTV streams.

Ruckus ZoneFlex 7025 Wall Switch Access Points
The new Ruckus ZoneFlex 7025 Multimedia Wi-Fi Wall Switch AP is the industry’s first high performance 802.11n integrated wired/wireless wall switch access point. Available in Euopean and US wallplate versions, the ZoneFlex 7025 replaces an existing Category 5 or Category 6 data cabling faceplate to provide an 802.11n-grade wireless access point with the addition of four switched Ethernet ports.
With the Ruckus ZoneFlex 7025, existing data cabling and outlet positions can be used to deploy a Ruckus WiFi network with low installation costs and minimal disruption.

Ruckus ZoneFlex 7731 is a low-cost point-to-point 802.11n backhaul device.
Ruckus ZoneFlex 7731 provides long-range 802.11n (5GHz) Wi-Fi Point-to-Point/Multipoint Backhaul operation up to 15km.
Using Ruckus' smart directional antenna, the ZoneFlex 7731 supports up to 190Mbps operation at 1.5km and offers performance up to 50Mbps at 10km in Line of Sight conditions (LoS).
