Why this LTE Core course?
The goal of the LTE SAE from the 3GPP is to achieve a high-data-rate, low-latency, packet-optimised system that supports multiple access technologies.Long Term Evolution, as defined in the 3GPP Release 8 standards, has described both an evolved Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN) and a new core network strategy termed SAE - System Architecture Evolution. The new core network is key to achieving the level of performance that LTE must deliver with the sort of low delay across the network that has been hitherto unachievable with GPRS and UMTS. This is a specialised two day course which covers the major area of LTE's (Long Term Evolution) evolved core network called SAE (Systems Architecture Evolution). The main part of SAE is the Evolved Packet Core (EPC), otherwise known as the SAE Core.
LTE Core Training Course Objectives
On completing this course, you will be able to:
- Understand why the core had to change from the UMTS architecture
- Appreciate the major components of the EPC
- Be aware of how functions such as CAMEL and IMS relate to EPC
- Gain an overview of interworking with WLANs and other networks
Who should attend this LTE Core course
- Delegates needing an in-depth understanding of the areas of LTE's (Long Term Evolution) Core Network
- Delegates would be employed or contracted to:
- Operators
- Manufacturers
- Integrators
- Regulators
LTE Core Course Pre-requisites
The course assumes an understanding of LTE technical concepts and architecture.
Lifetime Post-Course Support
After completing this
LTE Core training course, delegates receive
lifetime post-training support from LEVER Technology Group PLC, to help them apply the technologies and skills they have learned with us, to provide career-long support, and to ensure they are better equipped for their future roles in IT and networking.
