Why this course?
Whilst mobile communications is an effective way of achieving timely contact with staff, there are different cost models applying to different technologies. In this unique course, a wide area network rollout is assumed for most of the course from the basic decision to go ahead and building the Business Case. Getting revenue from prepay and contract phones, phone subsidy and charging for different services are described, preventing potentially expensive mistakes and misapprehensions.

- Understand the role of radio planning and why it takes so long
- Be aware of charging and billing for wireless networks
- Appreciate the role of the regulator.

- Non-technical professionals in roles which would include sales, marketing, finance and strategic planning in organisations such as mobile operators, start-up operators, corporate organisations, county and city councils and government departments.
Course Pre-requisites
The course assumes a basic awareness of mobile communications such as can be obtained by attending the Lever course "A Primer in Mobile Communications".
There is no maths or RF (Radio Frequency) in the course.
