Why this TETRA course?
Trunked radio, also called PRM (Private Mobile Radio), and PAMR (Public Access Mobile Radio) has been in use for many years by the emergency services and others. TETRA (TErrestrial Trunked RAdio) is the digital trunked radio system developed to meet the needs of organisations such as the emergency services (fire, police ambulance, air ambulance, coastguard), transportation, utilities and stripline applications such as oil and gas pipelines, Government, Military and commercial and industrial users. There are therefore many people needing to understand what TETRA is and what it can and cannot deliver. This course provides that awareness for users and operational staff as well as planners.

TETRA Course Pre-requisites
The course assumes no prior knowledge of telecommunications or cellular radio.. There is no maths or RF (Radio Frequency) in the course.
