Why this WiMAX Core course?
This three day course examines implementation issues which arise when rolling out a mobile WiMAX Broadband Wireless Access network. Mobile WiMAX is otherwise referred to a IEEE 802.16e Rolling out a wireless network is a complex and often expensive activity. The radio planning side is described in other courses but the ground network requires planning and installation of several components. One major such component is the ASN (Access Service Network) and its gateways.
WiMAX Core Training Course Objectives
On completing this course, you will be able to:
- Appreciate the end to end architecture of WiMAX as opposed to the radio access method of the IEEE standard
- Understand what is needed in the core network to support a WiMAX deployment
- Understand what field measurements are necessary after implementation
- Gain an overview of industry activities today.
Who should attend this WiMAX Core course
- Anyone needing to be aware of the whole WiMAX Core network
- Planning
- Rollout
- Live usage acting in architect
- Planner
- Manager
- Systems engineer
WiMAX Core Course Pre-requisites
This course assumes delegates understand WiMAX or are otherwise familiar with the principles of WiMAX (IEEE 802.16 and IEEE 802,16e). Attendance on the WiMAX Introduction course provides a suitable grounding. Some basic knowledge of IP (Internet Protocol) is assumed.
Lifetime Post-Course Support
After completing this
WiMAX Core training course, delegates receive
lifetime post-training support from LEVER Technology Group PLC, to help them apply the technologies and skills they have learned with us, to provide career-long support, and to ensure they are better equipped for their future roles in IT and networking.
