Why this WiMAX Engineer course?
This three day course is intended to focus on various implementation issues to do with rolling out a WiMAX Broadband Wireless Access network.
WiMAX Engineer Training Course Objectives
On completing this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the end-to-end architecture of WiMAX networks, as opposed to the radio access method of the IEEE 802.16 standard.
- Understand what is needed in the core network to support a WiMAX network deployment.
- Understand the field measurements that are necessary after WiMAX network implementation.
- Gain an overview of current WiMAX industry practices and trends relevant to WiMAX engineering.
Who should attend this WiMAX Engineer course
- All technical staff responsible for the successful planning, design or deployment of a WiMAX network.
WiMAX Engineer Course Pre-requisites
Before attending the WiMAX engineer course, delegates should be aware of the 802.16 (WiMAX) broadband wireless access standard and its structure, PHY and MAC operation. Some basic RF knowledge would be useful, as would knowledge of IP. LEVER can recommend appropriate pre-requisite training in each case - please call to discuss.
- When delivered as a one-company WiMAX engineering course, pre-requisite training will be provided as part of this course delivery.
Lifetime Post-Course Support
After completing this
WiMAX Engineer training course, delegates receive
lifetime post-training support from LEVER Technology Group PLC, to help them apply the technologies and skills they have learned with us, to provide career-long support, and to ensure they are better equipped for their future roles in IT and networking.
